As a teacher (and forever-learner) of Yoga, Fiona’s utmost focus is on equality, positivity, inclusiveness and knowledge in practice. Her Yoga classes and workshops concentrate on alignment, flow and balance with a light-hearted and accessible approach, catering for all ages, levels and abilities.

Her enthusiastic, creative and inquisitive approach to life resonates in her teachings. Fiona’s classes afford yogis a trademark warmth of atmosphere that challenges but supports and encourages with compassion.

Move facilitates regular Beginner Yoga and Foundations of Yoga workshops in various locations around Geelong and the Surf Coast. Fiona is passionate about affording opportunities for new and experienced practitioners of Yoga to gain a strong understanding of the foundations of the practice, transitioning to regular enjoyment of Yoga with ease and knowledge.

For Fiona, Wellness serves a much greater purpose than eating properly and exercising daily, although these are vital contributions to caring for our precious temples. Wellness is also commitment to something much deeper. It requires a surrender to control and a genuine readiness to stop, pause and listen.

The Move philosophy recognises that emotional wellbeing drives these external actions. As such, Fiona’s focus is on a holistic approach, targeting and replenishing areas of dis-ease: poor eating choices, not prioritising sleep, not allowing ourselves the permission of time, and more.

Fiona takes pride in creating exemplary health and wellbeing-focused environments and experiences. She holds space for the healing of old and tired wounds, offering advice and expertise to break negative, inherited cycles of self-sabotage. The outcome?
